Formed originally in 1998 by Managing Director Pat Carr, ISC prides itself in providing a totally focused bespoke service to the most demanding of projects. With over 100 years of combined industry specific experience, ISC’s team has the ability to assess and adapt to the changing needs of our clients. To this end, ISC maintains a large database of security professionals trained in many disciplines. Teams are specifically selected to meet each client’s precise requirements and our extensive ongoing training procedures, combined with a flexible approach, enables us to respond to the most varied and challenging client requests.
The Human Resources and Training team is a critical component of ISC’s business fabric. The team exists to manage ISC’s most valuable resources – its employees. To this end it is vital to have dedicated individuals who have industry knowledge to carry this through and that is exactly what we have. The team is made up of experienced individuals who are CIPD qualified with zeal and knowledge in the field of HR, this keeps ISC’s processes up to date at all times. Our internal training programmes are delivered by dedicated individuals who have worked in the security industry for over 15years with recognised qualifications in training and teaching.
The Operations team is made up of individuals with a vast wealth of experience in the security sector providing highly trained reliable staff for event security/stewarding and man guarding roles across the UK. The Operations team work closely with our clients to provide the best solution for their security or stewarding requirements and we constantly look to develop our staff through our in-house training provider to ensure that we deliver the best service to our clients with their ever changing needs to protect their assets, people and reputation.
The Consultancy team has wide-ranging levels of experience and expertise in every aspect of sports, entertainment venue and events operations, security and risk management, enabling us to look at projects from a holistic viewpoint. This means we are able to fully understand, grasp, develop, test and engage with all aspects of your business or facility, facilitating a rounded and dynamic approach.
Special Projects team our professionally experienced staff combine operational service at senior levels in the police and military with extensive practical experience in the commercial and financial worlds – to provide an integrated service including background checks, screening, surveillance, close protection and security consultancy.
The Finance team deals with all the company’s finance matters including Sales & Purchase Ledgers. It also deals with the Head Office & Staff payroll including any pensions and tax matters employees may have. The department is audited regularly by our banking authority and government departments. The department has individuals who have over 30 years’ experience in finance and an extensive knowledge of accounting and payroll software. The Finance team work very closely with both the HR and Operations department to ensure an integrated and smooth running of the company.
The Quality Assurance team ensures our systems and processes are in place and comply with the required standards, with the aim to ensure that we keep the best service possible for our clients and staff in an ever-changing security environment.
